Ruto Tells African Leaders to Get Real with Agenda 2063

President William Ruto asked African leaders to work together for a better Africa. He wants them to follow a plan called Agenda 2063, which aims to make life better for everyone in Africa over the next 50 years.

At a big online meeting with other African presidents, Ruto said leaders must make smart choices and work hard. He believes Africa needs money, good leadership, and strong friendships between countries to succeed. He wants every African country to have special offices that help make these plans happen.

The President talked about a new port in Lamu that ships can use. He invited other countries to send their boats there. He also thinks Africa should grow food in ways that help protect the earth. Many African countries promised to farm better when they met in Kampala, and Ruto wants them to keep these promises.

Ruto cares about giving people the power to make electricity. He believes this will create jobs for young people. His plan helps people who need it most, starting with those at the bottom. He said when only a few people benefit from progress, it does not help Africa grow properly.

The meeting included many important leaders, such as President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi from Egypt and President Paul Kagame from Rwanda. They all shared ideas about making Africa stronger. Ruto thinks Africa needs new ways to pay for big projects like roads and bridges. Without money for these projects, African countries find it hard to work together and trade with each other.

President Ruto wants Africa to be careful with nature. He said Africa should use clean energy and farm in ways that protect the environment. He believes all African countries must work together to fight climate change. When people work together and help each other, Africa becomes stronger.
