SADC Chair Mnangagwa Emphasizes Regional Unity

President Mnangagwa showed strong support for SADC during his visit. He went to their headquarters after becoming the new chairperson. He wants to help make the region better through new ideas and growth.

He talked to the SADC staff about working together. He said he wants to help everyone in the area become richer. His big goal is to turn SADC into a place where people earn more money and live better lives.

The president spoke about Zimbabwe's plan to work with other countries. He told everyone his door stays open for talks. He wants to make sure no one gets left out as the region grows stronger.

He also cares about keeping the region's history safe. Zimbabwe built a special place called the SADC Liberation Square in Harare. It has a museum that tells stories about freedom. Other SADC countries are doing similar things to save their history.

He thinks it's important for SADC countries to tell their own stories. They need to protect their culture and past. He wants both young and old people to feel proud of where they come from.

The president asked everyone to help him do a good job as chairperson. He believes they can make the region better if they all work as one team. He wants to make sure everyone benefits from the changes they make.
