The county has opened three service centers so far. One is at City Hall. The other two are in neighborhoods called Dandora and Makadara.
People who live in the eastern part of Nairobi will find these centers very helpful. Dandora has seven counters to serve people. Makadara has eight counters. Special teams will work at each center to make sure things run smoothly.
The centers will handle many kinds of county business, but they will focus mostly on money-related tasks. People can pay for things like land rates, business permits, parking, and house rent at the centers. They can also pay county bills online if they prefer.
The county just hired more than 40 new clerks. It chose them carefully. The clerks had to undergo extensive training, and they learned how to give really good service at the centers.
Mr. Njoroge said the county hopes to collect 20 billion shillings by mid-2025. That is even more than the 12.8 billion shillings it collected last year.
