Sharvari got to dance with her idol Madhuri Dixit, and the Munjya actress is thrilled. The pair teamed up for a fun clip tied to Yeh Prem Mol Liya, with Sharvari sharing her joy over the moment on Instagram.
For Sharvari, this was a big deal. She grew up admiring Madhuri, a star with deep ties to Sooraj Barjatya's Rajshri Films. Getting such a warm response from her favorite actress made the whole dance session even more special.
The clip has both stars moving to the main song from Yeh Prem Mol Liya. After the dance, they share a hug. Sharvari also gave a nod to Hum Aapke Hain Koun, the famed musical that helped make Madhuri a key face of Barjatya's style of romance.
As for the new movie, Ayushmann Khurrana joins Sharvari in the lead. Anupam Kher, Supriya Pathak, Seema Pahwa, Saumya Tandon, Shaad Randhawa, and Swanand Kirkire round out the main cast.
Barjatya directs the project, while Kamal Kumar Barjatya, Ajit Kumar Barjatya, and Mahaveer Jain handle production through Rajshri Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films. A theatrical launch is on the way.
And Sharvari has learned quite a bit from the director. While filming Jhumka Patola, he would explain what each scene meant for her role and share tales from past movie songs. She then used those details to shape her dance moves and facial expressions.
That approach gave her a fresh view of musical scenes. In Barjatya's films, she says, dancing is not just about getting the steps right. Each song serves the plot and helps reveal what a character is going through.
Madhuri's link to that style goes back to her lead part in Hum Aapke Hain Koun. Her screen presence and dance work have kept her a fan favorite, and Sharvari's post made clear just how much that legacy means to a younger actress.
