Silent Push busts JVTVlive pirate IPTV with 22,500 channels

Cybersecurity researchers at Silent Push discovered an international streaming piracy network that distributed content from Netflix, Disney, and Amazon Prime Video. The operation spanned more than 1,000 websites and operated through 10,000 internet addresses worldwide. One service called JVTVlive charged subscribers $15 monthly for access to 22,500 television channels and 100,000 programs before authorities shut down the platform. The network distributed material from 20 major entertainment companies across nearly 200 countries.

Data company MUSO reported that global piracy decreased during 2024 compared to previous years. Television content piracy generated 96.8 billion website visits, representing a 6.8 percent decline from 2023 levels. Movie piracy declined 18 percent to 24.3 billion visits, while book piracy increased primarily due to manga consumption. American users accounted for 26.6 billion piracy visits, while India ranked second with 17.5 billion visits.
