Slate Digital has released Virtual Mix Rack 3.0, introducing several enhancements that make it more versatile and user-friendly. The new Preset Browser helps users quickly find the perfect channel strip for their instrument or music style with a growing library of purpose-built presets. Macro Controls let one knob handle multiple parameters at once, enabling intricate tonal changes from a single control.

VMR 3.0 also adds Sidechain Input, allowing engineers to drive compression or gating from an external source. Module Gain Trimming makes balancing levels across different processors easy, ensuring clean signal flow and reduced unwanted distortion. Additionally, the interface can be scaled, allowing users to size it as needed for their workflow and screen space.

VMR 3.0 is a free upgrade for subscribers to the All Access Pass and Complete Access Bundle. Perpetual licenses are still available for those looking to own individual modules.
