SonikStation has added a full sampler to SonikSearch v3

SonikStation’s SonikSearch v3 has leveled up from sample librarian to beat-building workstation. Everything stays local across standalone, VST3, AU, and AAX formats. Its sampler holds 16 to 128 pads for one-shot drums or chromatic instruments, playable through MIDI hardware, onscreen keys, or a DAW.

Each pad supports layered velocity zones and key ranges, round-robins, drawn envelopes, filters, dual LFOs, eight FX slots, and 17 effects. Slicing follows transients, beat grids, or equal sections before exporting timing as MIDI. Five stretch algorithms join Sync, Tune, Freeze, separate outputs, automated macros, choke groups, and SFZ imports.

On-device neural separation extracts vocals, drums, bass, and remaining material, catalogs every stem, and links it to the source in either mode. Neural BPM and key detection retain older fallbacks, while more than 400 tags cover 12 facets. Quicker library scans show exact counts, and revamped duplicate matching catches re-encoded files.

Windows packages are signed, with native ARM available except AAX. Pro Tools gets AAX on macOS and x64 Windows. SonikSearch costs $89 with a 14-day trial, while earlier testers can request a v3 evaluation at [email protected].
