Ruto Receives Message from Algerian President.

NAIROBI, Kenya - President William Ruto welcomed a special envoy from Algeria on Sunday. The envoy, Minister of Communication Mohamed Meziane, delivered a message from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

The meeting took place at State House Nairobi. Ruto emphasized the strong diplomatic ties between Kenya and Algeria.

"Our countries share a commitment to pan-Africanism and progress," Ruto said. "We will keep working to enhance trade, investment, and people-to-people contacts."

Kenya and Algeria have enjoyed a positive relationship for many years. Both nations aim to advance their mutual interests.

Ambassador Selma Hadadi accompanied the special envoy. Hadadi is Algeria's candidate for Vice-Chair of the African Union Commission.

The discussions underscored the importance of African cooperation. Ruto and Meziane explored ways to deepen bilateral relations.
