Steve Smith to Return for Australia's Second Test Against West Indies

Steve Smith makes his comeback after hurting his finger badly three weeks ago during a match at Lord's. The cricket star dislocated his finger and had to go to hospital for treatment. He missed the first Test match against the West Indies because of the nasty injury. Australia won that game without him but their batting struggled at the top. Captain Pat Cummins says Smith feels ready to play again.

Josh Inglis loses his spot on the team after failing to impress during his chance. The young player only scored five runs and twelve runs across both innings. Smith will take back his number four batting position even though he must wear a protective splint. The veteran player might not field in his usual slip catching position because his finger still needs care. Doctors want him to avoid catching fast bowling for another week.

Australia faces a new challenge playing at St George's ground for the first time ever. The team visited the venue once before in 2008 for a one-day match but never played a Test there. Cummins believes having Smith back will help the squad figure out the unfamiliar conditions. The experienced batsman knows how to score runs on different types of pitches around the world. His knowledge should help younger players who have limited experience on similar grounds.

The bowling attack stays the same with Cummins leading Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood.
