During the inspection, he also reviewed a stalled nursing college project and visited the maternity ward. Earlier, he examined operations at Lindi Port, instructing the port authority to resolve technical issues hindering its use. Regarding infrastructure, the Prime Minister gave road agencies a seven-day deadline to present fixes for a deteriorating bridge and risky road sections, following concerns raised by the local member of parliament about impending flood damage. He demanded a detailed report on costs and timelines from the Regional Commissioner.
