Tata Motors hits 25000 charging stations as Ace Pro EV surges

Tata Motors has revealed that customers of its electric small commercial vehicle can access more than 25,000 public charging stations. These facilities span across 150 cities, ranging from major metropolitan areas like Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad. The automaker aims to enhance range confidence and operational efficiency for last-mile delivery businesses. Tata Motors established partnerships with 13 Charging Point Operators through memorandums of understanding to deploy an additional 25,000 public chargers within twelve months. The Fleet Edge connected vehicle platform will integrate all current and future charging locations for real-time navigation assistance.

Pinaki Haldar from Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles described the 25,000 charging station achievement as a significant advancement in electric cargo mobility. More than 10,000 Tata Ace EVs operate on Indian roads and have traveled over 60 million kilometers collectively. The recently launched Ace Pro EV appeals to customers with its advanced features, catering to urban and semi-urban transportation needs. Tata Motors maintains over 200 specialized EV support centers nationwide to ensure reliable service and minimal downtime. The company offers three electric SCV models that accommodate various cargo applications and payload specifications.
