Temi's wedding shows marriage isn't outdated, says Cuppy

Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola expressed her views about matrimony through social media posts on Thursday. The billionaire heiress regards marriage as humanity's most powerful partnership and considers it a sacred covenant witnessed by divine presence. Her perspective reflects traditional values that view matrimonial bonds as significant life contracts.

Otedola credits her sister Temi's recent marriage to musician Oluwatosin Ajibade for strengthening her beliefs about the institution. She believes the right partnership draws individuals closer to their life purpose while building family foundations and lasting legacies. The entertainer considers marriage far from obsolete when entered with suitable companions.

The newlyweds celebrated their union through three separate ceremonies across different locations. Their first celebration occurred in Monaco during May 2025 on a date honoring the groom's deceased mother. They later held traditional Yoruba ceremonies at the Otedola family residence in Dubai before concluding with private vows in Iceland during August.
