The government gives a free pass to tax dodgers with a new directive

Government officials have scrapped annoying paperwork rules that made life harder for regular people. Taxpayers can forget about showing proof they filed their income tax returns when they want basic services. The new rules kick in right away and will help millions of workers and small business owners. Officials say the change makes things easier for professionals and ordinary people who just want to get on with their lives. The old system forced people to dig up tax documents every time they needed simple services.

People can get trade licenses without the hassle of showing tax papers to city officials. Banks will give out credit cards and let customers open savings accounts up to 10 lakh taka without demanding tax proof. Workers can join professional groups for doctors, lawyers, engineers and other jobs without the paperwork nightmare. The government will pay employees and let people open post office accounts without asking for tax documents. Mobile banking services and vehicle registration also get easier under the new rules.

The changes affect 13 different services that used to require tax filing proof. Small investors can buy savings certificates and open term deposits much faster than before. E-commerce businesses can get licenses without jumping through tax paperwork hoops. Officials believe the changes will boost business activity and make government services more user-friendly for everyone.
