Zimbabwean authorities have established formal international channels for victims to report allegations of rape and fraud against Walter Magaya, leader of Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries. National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the move in a statement, citing inquiries from complainants across Zimbabwe, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, and beyond.
Victims are urged to contact the Zimbabwe Republic Police via designated numbers: +263 776 830 226, +263 (0242) 703631, or WhatsApp +263 712 800 197. Those in South Africa are advised to file reports at local police stations, have statements notarized, and submit them through the Zimbabwean Embassy.
Magaya and his wife were arrested on November 1, 2025, and appeared in Harare Magistrates Court on November 3–4, facing charges tied to alleged investment fraud through Planet Africa and Yadah Connect, as well as new rape allegations. They remain in custody pending High Court bail applications.
Police warned against interference with the investigation, cautioning activist groups and social media platforms against sharing investigators’ private contact details. Authorities also urged witnesses to report threats or intimidation immediately.
