Tinubu meets with service chiefs over escalating insecurity

Nigerian leader Bola Tinubu convened his top security commanders at the Presidential Villa for confidential discussions addressing the nation's deteriorating safety situation. Military heads from all branches joined police and intelligence directors for the high-level consultation in the capital.

Attendance comprised General Olufemi Oluyode from defense operations, Air Vice-Marshal Kelvin Aneke representing aerial forces, Rear Admiral Idi Abbas heading maritime command, and Major General Waidi Shaibu leading ground troops. Police chief Kayode Egbetokun and state security director Tosin Ajayi participated alongside Major General EAP Undiendeye from the defense intelligence.
