Some old-school gear just clawed its way back into the lineup and it's rocking bakelite knobs like it's flexing at a vintage swap meet. TK Audio brought their Baxandall-style EQ box back from the dead with the Lizer 3, straight up swapping out the old Lizer 2 which apparently got the axe. Under the hood, the input and output stages got a once-over, the highs and lows got some circuit massaging, and the Mid-Side encoder/decoder now separates channels way cleaner than before.
Spec-wise nothing wild changed. Three EQ bands, six frequency options on each, plus or minus 4dB to play with. Mids are locked into peak mode only, but highs and lows let you toggle between shelf and peak depending on the vibe you're going for.
Both channels pack a high-pass filter with 12 frequency choices, and there's this cue switch letting you solo left, right, Mid, or Side signals whenever you need to check your work. Everything runs electronically balanced too, so the signal path stays clean.
