Tokunbo Wahab's team purges Platinum Way of shanties

Lagos authorities demolished unauthorized settlements and an improvised vehicle cleaning facility within the Lekki district during recent environmental compliance operations. Environment and Water Resources Commissioner Tokunbo Wahab announced the removal through his official social media platform on Tuesday. Enforcement officers destroyed the structures at Lafiaji Beach and Platinum Way locations in the Igbokusu section. Wahab stated these settlements harm environmental quality while encouraging improper garbage disposal and unsanitary conditions near coastal areas. State officials maintain their position against activities threatening environmental protection and community health standards.
