Toronto FC draws seventh straight as Mihailovic rescues a point

Toronto FC extended its draw streak to seven games with a 1-1 result against Inter Miami on Saturday. Djordje Mihailovic found the net in the 60th minute to level the match for the hosts. Tadeo Allende had given Miami the lead during first-half added time with his ninth goal of the campaign. The result leaves Toronto winless across nine consecutive matches dating back to July 16.

Miami entered the contest having secured its playoff position earlier this week. The visitors hold a commanding 28-point advantage over Toronto in the Eastern Conference standings. Goalkeeper Sean Johnson produced multiple saves to deny Lionel Messi throughout the match. The game attracted 28,855 spectators, marking Toronto's first sellout this season.
