Last Friday, a truck sank deep into a river called Tshangani in Nkayi. The truck was there to pick up sand from the river. The driver had a big problem when his truck stopped working.
The driver left his truck to find someone who could help him fix it. The river changed very quickly during this time. When the driver came back, he saw that water had covered almost his whole truck. He could only see a tiny bit of it sticking out of the water.
The people in charge of keeping everyone safe called the Civil Protection Unit and told everyone what had happened to the truck in the river.
