Water Levels Rising at 91 Stations, No Rivers Exceed Danger Level, FFWC Reports

River water levels across Bangladesh have risen at 91 monitoring stations during recent measurements. The Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre reported that 23 stations recorded decreasing water levels. Five stations maintained steady levels according to the latest data. None of the 119 monitored river stations currently flow above dangerous levels. All major waterways remain below critical thresholds.

The Surma-Kushiyara river system continues climbing higher over the next two days. Water levels will stabilize after that period ends. The Kushiyara River near Sylhet district may approach warning levels within one day. Heavy rains are expected to fall across this region tomorrow. Moderate to heavy precipitation will continue for two additional days.

Brahmaputra-Jamuna river levels keep rising over the next five days. These waterways will stay below dangerous marks despite continued increases. The Ganges and Padma rivers also show rising trends for five days ahead. Both river systems will remain under critical levels during this period. Officials expect safe water flow conditions to continue.

The Teesta, Dharla and Dudhkumar rivers currently show rising patterns. These waterways will start dropping after one day passes. Water levels will hold steady for the following two days. Moderate to heavy rainfall will affect this river basin. Weather forecasters predict three days of significant precipitation across the region.
