Wesley University feels left out because private schools cannot use TETFund money. The school leader, Prof Samuel Obeka, said this hurts growth at private colleges across Nigeria. He spoke during student welcome events at the Ondo State campus. Private schools must pay bills with only student fees and gifts from donors. Public schools run by states or federal groups have extra cash support for buildings and research.
