Western Nations Aim to Curb African Liberation

After Africa became free, Western Europe kept looking for sneaky ways to control their old colonies. They gave themselves the right to call African elections fair or stolen, depending on who wins. Elections go smoothly when their favorite candidate wins but become "stolen" when a freedom-fighting group succeeds.

African countries led by freedom fighters face huge problems during every election. Zimbabwe, Namibia, South Africa, and Mozambique all experience these troubles. This happens because Western nations want to make these groups look bad and eventually remove them completely. The danger feels real and present.

I call them liberation movements because gaining freedom never stops. Western countries and their partners really want to eliminate these remaining groups because Africa has many valuable resources nobody has touched yet. They target several important organizations across the continent.

South Africa's ANC, Zimbabwe's Zanu PF, Mozambique's Frelimo, Namibia's Swapo, Tanzania's Chama Chamapinduzi, and Angola's MPLA all face these threats. Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger fight for complete independence from France after years of partial freedom. Western nations work hard to destroy these efforts as well.

The recent Mozambique election shows how Sweden tried to remove Frelimo even after they won. The Swedish International Development Cooperation created a plan for 2020-2026 that looked like help but actually aimed to change the government. Everything intended to trap Frelimo, push them out, and give power to groups that support Western interests.

Words like democracy, good governance, and accountability just hid their true goals. During the election, SIDA took charge with help from Western countries and America. They tried many tricks to make the opposition win unfairly. When the opposition started losing, SIDA let them stay at their embassy in Maputo.

They organized the opposition, funded their resistance efforts, and created chaos. Many people died. Many suffered injuries. Fires destroyed numerous businesses. Cars burned. Homes disappeared. Did all this happen because of democracy? SIDA committed crimes in Mozambique and deserves punishment.

They bear responsibility for the disturbances and should be forced to leave Mozambique as an example. Think about the lost lives, destroyed businesses, and repairs needed after the chaos. The SIDA project timeline clearly covered the Mozambican election period on purpose. Sweden seems very active in taking down African freedom movements.

Sweden's Ambassador to Mali had to leave within 72 hours because of statements made against the country. Three nations - Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger - have moved away from Western allies toward Russia instead. Sweden decided to stop giving aid to Mali because of its connections with Moscow.

Mali fought against rebels in the north after ending military partnerships with Western powers. The country cut ties with Ukraine when a diplomat suggested Ukraine helped rebels who claimed they killed Russian mercenaries and Malian soldiers. Relations between these three countries and Western powers have gotten worse as they turn to Russia for support.

Mozambique should close the Swedish Embassy for interfering in their election process. African liberation movements need to stand together against these attacks. They must send clear messages to Western countries that still act colonial and think Africa needs their guidance to decide its future.

Modern politics teaches us that everyone is equal when it comes to partnerships. Western countries represent just part of our global community, and alternatives like BRICS offer real political, economic, and social options. The BRICS family keeps growing, with many new members joining by 2024.

BRICS countries have clean records without colonial wrongdoings. They want fair business relationships with countries led by liberation movements without asking for favors. Sweden and its friends need to understand Africa has many options available today. Colonial thinking belongs in history books.

If Sweden keeps meddling in African politics, most of its diplomats might be kicked out. No country stays small anymore—each grows as big as its friendships. African liberation movements should realize that their survival depends on unity, new allies, and fresh thinking.
