A federal minister just told a state governor to get out of his political fights. FCT Minister Neysom Wike clapped back at Bauchi State Governor Mohammed after the governor accused him on television of trying to destroy him and destabilize his state. Wike, speaking at a separate event, said he previously warned the governor to stay out of his state's affairs, telling him to face his own problems instead.
He mocked the governor's current political weakness, pointing out that he lacks the party support to even pick a successor. Wike's retort essentially framed the conflict as a mismatch, questioning why the governor would pick a fight he lacks the spirit to finish.
