Youngest Housing Boss Zimusi Takes Gweru by Storm

Gweru City Council just named Joseph Zimusi as Director of Housing and Community Services. At 36, he becomes the youngest person ever to hold such a senior position with the local authority. The council expects his leadership will boost housing services throughout Gweru. Public relations officer Vimbai Chingwaramusee said the council aims to fill key management roles to improve services for residents. They still need to appoint a Town Clerk and Chamber Secretary.

Zimusi brings strong educational credentials to his new role. He earned an MBA from Great Zimbabwe University and holds degrees in Human Resource Management and Local Governance Studies from Midlands State University. His previous jobs with the city spanned several human resources positions, from Personnel Manager to Housing Superintendent. Acting Town Clerk Livingstone Churu announced an official statement. Zimusi has promised to focus on progress, teamwork, and community needs as he takes up his new duties.
