Zambry offers B40 students a boat in Bendang Siam

Malaysia's Higher Education Ministry supports low-income students through financial assistance programs. Minister Zambry Abdul Kadir announced continued backing for B40 families during a ceremony in Kampung Batu 8. The Sulung program helps first-generation university students access degree-level education regardless of ethnicity. Yayasan Perkasa Siswa provides additional funding resources.

Government officials designated RM1.2 million for village development under the MADANI adoption initiative. Construction projects will upgrade religious facilities and build community spaces. Workers will renovate the local surau and construct halls for public gatherings. The funding covers funeral facilities at Masjid Al-Wusqa and recreational areas for residents.

Bagan Datuk Polytechnic contributed to watercraft for villagers' transportation needs. The MADANI Technical and Vocational Education program oversees community improvements. Officials target infrastructure enhancements that directly benefit rural populations.
