Zimbabwe Opposition Circus Bets on Clown Geza

Zimbabwe has turned its politics into a sad joke. Nobody clearly leads the opposition anymore. People who backed Citizens Coalition for Change before have started cheering for Blessed Geza instead. What makes this funny? Geza used to belong to ZANU-PF. He speaks for unhappy war veterans, yet somehow, former Nelson Chamisa fans think he might save them.

Chamisa kept his fans waiting five years for his famous "signal" that never showed up. They watched him mess up repeatedly, saw his party fall apart, and witnessed him leave CCC without much explanation. These same people hear Geza talking big and decide he gives them a new "signal" worth following. Can Geza actually help? Or have these people just found another false hope?

The opposition hasn't been this messy for many years. The MDC fell apart because enemies attacked it and leaders made mistakes. CCC never grew strong enough before it broke down. When Chamisa left, he created space. Someone had to fill it. But choosing Geza raises big questions. He comes from the ruling party. We don't know what he really wants. Unlike Chamisa, Geza doesn't even claim he stands for democracy. He talks more about fights inside ZANU-PF than changing how government works.

The funny part? Those who waited years for Chamisa's directions happily take orders from Geza. This habit of "waiting for signals" shows a deeper problem. Opposition supporters don't take charge themselves. They should demand clear plans and organized leadership. Instead, they follow whoever shouts loudest. Geza becoming popular should wake everyone up. If opposition just means following the loudest voice, real change cannot happen. Without planning, clear beliefs, and local support, the opposition just reacts instead of leading.

Zimbabweans deserve better choices than ZANU-PF after decades of one-party control. Real choices don't come from people who jump ship during party fights. They come from building movements with clear structure, solid plans, and focus on real problems. People need help with poverty, corruption, jobs, and basic needs. If the opposition keeps looking for "signals," it stays powerless. Zimbabwe's future depends on action, strategy, and real leadership. Until people learn this lesson, they'll keep jumping from one "savior" to another without making progress.
