The defendant dated a single mother in Windsor, Canada, while using the false identity Sheraz Hameed. Hameedi planned to abduct her minor child after she limited his contact with the youngster in June 2025. Investigators found a laminated ransom note and discovered he had gathered kidnapping supplies like stun guns, zip ties, duct tape, and tranquilizer research.
