Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro dismissed the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority's recent fuel price adjustment as meaningless for struggling citizens. The regulator cut petrol and kerosene prices by one shilling each while diesel remained constant at previous levels. Current Nairobi pump prices stand at 185.31 shillings for super petrol, 171.58 shillings for diesel, and 155.58 shillings for kerosene. Nyoro addressed graduates at Gorgeous Technical Institute in Thika Town during his Friday remarks. The legislator argued that one shilling holds no purchasing power in modern Kenya.
