Prosecutors brought terrorism charges against 37 people at Kahawa Law Courts on Tuesday. The suspects face serious accusations for attacks that happened on June 25, 2025 in two different locations. Twenty-five defendants are connected to violent incidents in Kikuyu, Kiambu county that lasted from noon until late evening. The remaining twelve suspects were arrested after a separate attack in Matuu, Machakos county. Court officials confirmed the Director of Public Prosecutions approved all charges after reviewing investigation files.
