Safaricom strengthened its leadership position among Kenya's fixed internet companies during the third quarter of 2024/2025. The telecommunications giant added new customers and expanded its market control according to fresh data from the Communications Authority of Kenya. Company officials reported 678,118 fixed internet subscriptions compared to 621,149 from the previous three months. The firm's market share climbed to 36.5 percent from 36.1 percent as demand for fiber-to-home services continued growing. Strong performance came despite fierce competition from other internet providers across the country.
