Bangladesh's National Consensus Commission met with political parties for the seventh day Sunday. The group wants to create agreements about major government changes. Professor Ali Riaz led the meeting at the Foreign Service Academy starting at 11 a.m. About 30 political parties attended the talks. BTV News showed the discussions live on television.
The commission discussed forming committees to pick people for important government jobs. Leaders also talked about basic rules that guide the country. Representatives from BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami and National Citizen Party shared their ideas. Each party explained what reforms they wanted to see happen.
