The Electricity Company of Ghana finished building a new power line that cost nearly 3 million cedis. Workers spent six months connecting the Afari Substation to Nkawie in Greater Kumasi. The project used 95 new poles and modern equipment to carry electricity. Officials say the line will help thousands of people get better power service. The new power line serves eight communities around Nkawie. People in Bedabour, Gyankobaa, Mpasatia and five other areas will receive stronger electricity.
