Absa Bank Mozambique earned more money last year than ever before. Their profits jumped 14.1% to 1,852 million meticais, which equals about 26.2 million euros. This beats the old record they set in 2023, when they made 1,620 million meticais, or 22.9 million euros. The bank grew faster than others in collecting money from customers. People trusted them with 25.2% more cash than before.
Money saved in accounts reached 69,111 million meticais, almost 980 million euros. Loans to customers also went up by 9.6%, hitting 28,319 million meticais, about 401 million euros.
