President Mnangagwa visited National Foods and praised their new factories that make pasta, cereals, and biscuits. The company spent 13 million dollars building modern plants that use local crops from Zimbabwe farmers. Workers at the pasta factory produce 1,200 tons each month using wheat grown at home. The cereal plant will make 800 tons monthly from local corn. Government leaders want more companies to build similar facilities across the country.
