Dynamos Pour Loot into Sangomas Snub Players

Dynamos football club spent 126,000 dollars on traditional healers during 126 games over 32 months. The team paid 1,000 dollars per match to sangomas who promised to help them win. FIFA banned the club from signing new players because they failed to pay two Ghanaian footballers. Emmanuel Paga and Frederick Botchway never received 18,500 dollars that Dynamos owed them. The club chose to pay traditional healers instead of settling player debts.

Officials at Dynamos still visit the stadium at midnight before games to perform special ceremonies. The sangomas claim they prevent worse defeats even when the team loses matches. Club supporters question why money goes to traditional healers when players wait for their wages. Dynamos won only one game out of thirteen this season despite spending heavily on spiritual help. The team sits near the bottom of the league table after years of poor performance.

Other football clubs also hire traditional healers for spiritual assistance during matches. Former Dynamos officials revealed the secret payments have continued for years without any official records. The club won two cup tournaments recently which sangomas use to justify their expensive services. Many people wonder if the money actually reaches the traditional healers or disappears elsewhere. Dynamos built their reputation on winning championships but cannot pay basic player salaries.
