Nigerian singer Tems and World Trade Organization chief Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala earned spots on Africa's top peace leaders list. Organizers announced the 2025 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa during Wednesday ceremonies across Abuja. Liverpool footballer Mohammed Salah from Egypt also received recognition for his community work. Business leaders from Tanzania, Morocco, Zimbabwe and Rwanda joined the prestigious group. Selection committees chose people who help their communities and support young Africans.
