Zimbabwe completed a health project for women affected by Cyclone Idai. China and the United Nations Population Fund contributed to the funding of the work. The program helped over 60,000 women receive medical care for childbirth. Doctors and nurses learned new skills to help mothers and babies. Three hospitals received new equipment and had their buildings repaired after the storm damage.
