chapfuura chaenda, nyoka haina rivhesi giya

Literal meaning: what has passed is gone already, a snake doesn't have reserve gear.

Contextual meaning: when something has happened it is impossible to change the outcome thereof. For example, if a person is dead they are dead. Best believe they ain't coming back whether you decide to bury them in a gold-plated coffin or even if you build an expensive burial chamber i.e., a mausoleum; the fact still remains the same. And such is life. It's the end of the road until the second coming of Christ, that is.
