chibhubhubhu

Definition: to do things in a higgledy-piggledy fashion without any sense of direction or any principles of being organized.

For example, in Zimbabwe when people are lined up in a queue for basic commodities e.g. bread (chingwa), cooking oil (mafuta), mealie-meal (hupfu) when a shop grants them access to go inside there will be all kinds of pushing and shoving so that one manages to pick grocery items before it all runs out.

Another common example of chibhubhubhu is a case of casual amateur soccer players (mabhuza) where instead of passing the ball around to build a play they often randomly kick the ball back and forth—on top of that doing crazy sliding tackles. It's as though drugged-up crackheads are on a field day if you watch them.
