means: "now", "okay" or "m'kay"


Double use of nau means "right now", for instance, nau nau.

Example:​

But Jay Doe dem no bi fain pesin nau. Dem dey jrai.

Jay Doe they aren't all that, m'kay? They are basic (or beautifully challenged).
