"Shefu" in Shona langwij means: boss, chairperson, director, chief executive, or the major shareholder of a corporate entity.

Now depending on the size of the company you work for and your current position, you may have too many bosses to report to, and in that case, the plural for shefu is actually: madzishefu.

Note: this word shefu is literary pronounced as 'share-foo.'
