ABC Conference 2025 ignites African creatives globally

The ABC Conference hit Lagos and basically turned into a multiday creative awakening for Nigerian artists and entrepreneurs trying to connect with global markets. Yagazie Eguare from Gazmadu brought together speakers like Isaac Emokpae and Tolani Alli from the World Bank Group, plus hands-on workshops with Fujifilm gear led by Kahli Brown and Richard Lackey.

People walked away talking about sessions on scaling without burning out, using AI to stay competitive, and building systems that actually support creative work instead of draining it. Felix Crown dropped warnings about artificial intelligence replacing anyone who ignores it, while Choice Okweku broke down business structure as something personal rather than just spreadsheets and policies.

Seyi Alawuh scored a million naira grant after winning the pitch competition, but most attendees said the real prize was getting clarity on how to build sustainable creative careers that serve communities while making actual money.
