Accra buzzes as Terlabi tells Peace Council board to fix Ghana unity crisis

Government official Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi told new peace council leaders they must work hard to keep Ghana calm. The Deputy Minister for Interior spoke at a Tuesday meeting for fresh board members. He wants them to stay honest and jump into action when problems arise. Terlabi reminded the group that Ghana looks good compared to other West African countries. The nation has built a strong reputation for staying peaceful during tough times.

The minister picked these board members because they have good records and smart backgrounds. He believes they can bring wisdom and love for country to their new jobs. Terlabi stressed that Ghana needs people who can talk through problems and bring different groups together. The government plans to back up the National Peace Council with money and advice. His ministry will help them do their work the right way.

Board members must stay neutral when dealing with tricky situations like chief fights and political arguments. They also need to help different religious groups work together and keep young people involved. Terlabi warned them that people will watch how they handle sensitive topics. The ministry expects them to build trust with everyone across the country. Good leadership means treating all sides fairly during disputes.

Chairman Emmanuel Kofi Fianu promised his team would work together despite facing difficult challenges ahead. He said board members would use their skills to bring new ideas to the peace council. Fianu believes their experience will help Ghana stay stable and secure. The group commits to protecting the peaceful environment that makes Ghana special.
