Adah Sharma reveals the secret behind Tulsi Vivah's power

Actress Adah Sharma shared insights into Tulsi Vivah, a Hindu ceremony symbolizing the marriage between the sacred Tulsi plant and Lord Vishnu. The ritual holds deep religious meaning and marks the beginning of the traditional Hindu wedding season following the monsoon period.

On Sunday, Sharma posted a video explaining the mythology behind the tradition. She recounted the tale of Vrinda, a devoted woman whose prayers protected her husband, Raja Jalandhar, from defeat. When deities sought help from Lord Vishnu, he appeared to Vrinda disguised as her husband, causing her to unknowingly break her sacred vows. This led to Jalandhar's death in battle. After revealing his true identity, Vishnu received Vrinda's curse that he would face separation from his own wife, which later manifested during Sita's exile. From Vrinda's body emerged the Tulsi plant, which Vishnu declared would be revered in Hindu households and remain essential to his worship.

The ceremony celebrates Tulsi as an earthly form of Goddess Lakshmi, with her symbolic union to Vishnu represented through a Shaligram stone or Amla branch. Sharma emphasized that Tulsi leaves remain integral to Hindu rituals and temple worship practices.
