Adivi Sesh is calling December 18 the 'Day of Dacoit'. That's when his new film's teaser drops in both Mumbai and Hyderabad at the same time. He admits the dual city launch is a hectic move, but says it shows how strongly he feels about the project.
The movie, titled Dacoit, features Mrunal Thakur and a notable role for Anurag Kashyap. Sesh describes it as more than just an action film, emphasizing its emotional core and themes of betrayal and revenge. The story follows a convict plotting vengeance against an ex-girlfriend. It was shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, with Sesh co-writing the screenplay.
Sesh, known for films like Major and Goodachari, is also working on a sequel to the latter titled G2. That project will see him reunite with his spy character alongside co-star Emraan Hashmi.
