Adomako Kissi slams AG for playing to cameras, not courts

A former parliament member criticized the Attorney General for his handling of alleged crimes. Dr. Dickson Adomako Kissi accused Dr. Dominic Ayine of seeking media attention over court judgments. He argued the AG should focus on formal prosecutions instead of making public statements about investigations.

The criticism followed a press conference where Ayine announced plans to prosecute specific individuals. He stated a company owned by a regional political chairman would face charges for using fraudulent documents to get a large bank loan. He also said a political party leader and his wife would be prosecuted for forgery and money laundering involving millions. The former MP urged the Attorney General to concentrate on his official duties and let court results speak for themselves, calling the current approach overly populist and political.
