Afenyo Markin gives hairdryers and sewing machines

Hundreds of people from Tsiame came out to welcome Alexander Afenyo-Markin, Minority Leader and Efutu MP, who visited his ancestral home in the Keta Municipality. The MP gave out over 30 hairdryers, sewing machines, and other tools to help local women start or grow their businesses. The MP said his visit meant a lot both for the community and the country. He explained that these donations came from his heart, not because he wanted to run as a candidate in Keta.

Keta MP Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpe thanked him for the support and asked other parliament members to do similar things. Bernard Suka, former Assembly Member, praised Afenyo-Markin as someone who inspired young people through his service. The women who received items promised to use them to build better lives for their families. This visit became more than just a ceremony - it celebrated someone whose work continues to help his people. Residents showed deep appreciation for his practical support that aims to improve living standards.
