Six Afro-fusion bands secured positions for the national championship scheduled for October 4. The provincial finals also produced one Sungura ensemble and one traditional contemporary act as additional qualifiers.

Saturday's competitions delivered victories for the Mnenga Band, representing Manicaland province, and Afro Pulse from Masvingo province. Jungle Foxes earned the Mashonaland East provincial title through their Sungura performances. Simuniziva claimed the Matabeleland North championship while Core Vibes captured the Midlands crown. All in One emerged victorious from Mashonaland West province, and Da Band triumphed in Bulawayo.
