AGN chief’s crash traced to brake failure, tragedy hits early

The Actors Guild dropped a statement explaining that their freshly elected president, Abubakar Yakubu, had a brake failure right before his car killed a kid and injured the mother in Surulere. The outgoing guild boss, Emeka Rollas, confirmed that mechanical problems caused the whole situation and that Yakubu played nice with cops and emergency crews when they showed up.

The crash went down just days after Yakubu beat actress Rita Daniels in the presidential election, and he got arrested right after the incident happened. The injured mother is getting medical treatment while authorities handle the investigation.
