AICWA blasts Pak batter Farhan over Asia Cup gun show

The All Indian Cine Workers Association has denounced Pakistani cricketer Sahibzada Farhan for his bat-as-gun celebration gesture after reaching fifty runs during the Asia Cup match against India. AICWA maintains its firm position against collaborating with Pakistani nationals across sporting and cultural platforms. The organization prohibits Pakistani performers from entering the Indian film industry and threatens complete bans against any Indian filmmakers who hire them.

AICWA cited Diljit Dosanjh as an example, stating the Punjabi actor remains banned for collaborating with Pakistani artists on Sardaar Ji 3. The association demands a public national apology from Dosanjh before lifting the boycott. AICWA also targeted the BCCI, accusing the cricket board of prioritizing profit over national interests by permitting the match.

The organization emphasized that soldiers protect the nation while cricket boards compromise for monetary gain. AICWA referenced recent terrorist attacks on tourists in Pahalagam as context for their unwavering stance against Pakistani collaboration.
